Platform & Software Developer
Build and maintain the services, integrations and applications behind TrendOps.
The role
Work across APIs, event-driven services, time-series data and user-facing features. We use AI-assisted development, with engineers responsible for design decisions, tests, review and production behaviour.
What you may be doing
- Develop backend services in C# / .NET, including event-driven and messaging components
- Work with time-series storage and queries on PostgreSQL and TimescaleDB
- Build and extend REST APIs and integrations for Power BI, Power Automate and custom tools
- Build dashboard, trend and visualization features for the web application
- Extend the TrendOps Edge connectors and SDK
- Use AI-assisted development tools with tests and code review
- Take part in design reviews with the founder and solutions engineers
Essential
- Strong C# / .NET and SQL
- Experience with a major cloud platform
- Comfort with distributed and event-driven designs
- Accountability for design decisions, tests and production behaviour
- Interest in industrial and operational data
